Prayer Garden

The Holy Mary Mother of God Prayer Garden is located on the grounds of St Mary's Parish at 217 East Mesa Ave, Pueblo, CO.  The gates are open throughout the day from sun-up to sundown.  Anyone wishing to spend time in prayer, walking the Way of the Cross, praying the rosary through the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous Mysteries depicted in stone, or just sitting and sharing thoughts with Our Lady is invited to visit this sacred place.    The beautiful prayerful edifice, graced by the statue of Our Lady of Grace, was made possible by contributions of those who wish to share in the spiritual ownsership through memorial gifts and the thousand bricks engraved with the donor's names.  Bricks are available for gift giving at $100 per brick.  Also a Memorial brick is engraved as a courtesy for those making Memorial donations to the Prayer Garden.   St. Mary Slovenian Library, 211 East Mesa Ave., Pueblo, CO 81006.   For other information contact stmarysgen9@aol.com

 St Mary School Class Reunion

A Reunion of students who had ever attended St Mary School was held several years ago.  At that time a committee was formed to oversee a fund that was derived from the reunion proceeds. The fund was designated to preserve and provide for the future care of St. Mary School and a memorial section in the building.

Memories of the Reunion were activated as the committee proceed with the 'honors and memory' section that will become a permanent fixture on the walls in the main hall.  Names of each student, friend, and/or religious to be memorialized.   The 4x4 ceramic tiles will be engraved.    Each includes the logo (Ram's Head) from the St. Mary School Rampage Newsletter, the name of the person and their relation to the school.  Any former students or anyone wishing to be included in the memory section may order a tile for $35.  For other information call 719-542-6323 or email  stmarysgen9@aol.com
